Are you a regular at any of your local restaurants or cafes what is that relationship like?

We certainly like to shop locally and support our local businesses, though not exclusively. The businesses where I feel we have a 'relationship' and where we feel that we are personally valued as customers are small businesses where the owner works full time in the store. I would include, 'Something Special' a gift shop in town which has been owned by the same lady for the last 25 years and where I can always count on finding a card or a gift, quite often with some help from her.

Another 'gift'y shop is 'Apple Seed Cottage' at Willow Point who always make me feel welcome. The 'Needle and Arts Centre', where I shop for yarns and patterns and the sewing shop in Willow Point are always helpful...... but the place we probably have the most ongoing relationship is with Brian at 'Willow Point Wines', who helps us keep our wine cellar stocked!
